Archie Drysdale may seem ordinary, and in many ways…he is! He struggles to connect with people, and his shy and awkward personality have made him an easy target at the office.

He often spends long nights at the office analyzing database structures, where he finds a strange comfort in the complex and predictable patterns the datasets reveal to him. It’s almost as if he’s found a way to escape to his own secret universe!

But fate had a different plan for Archibald Drysdale, and on one stormy night, destiny came calling!

We live in a world dependent on data, so much so, that it has become interwoven into the very fabric of our society. Communication, healthcare, transportation, and even electricity all rely on data to operate and keep us safe.

But there are malicious forces out there lurking around every digital corner! Taking the form of malware and viruses, they prey on our vulnerabilities and threaten our digital freedoms.

And so…whether it was his curiosity for quantifying problems, his realization that data was equivalent to knowledge, or the inherent good inside of him, when AnswerPoint needed someone to protect the Dataverse, Archie was chosen to be that hero, and DATAMAN was born!

And while Archie still struggles to navigate the complexities of our society and its norms, Dataman patrols the Dataverse, bravely fighting the cyber-villains and other evils intent on doing us harm.

There are cyber threats everywhere, and Dataman was created to stop them!
